IGEL Disrupt 2020 Nashville- During the keynote of IGEL Disrupt Scott Manchester @microsoft was on stage announcing General Availability of WVD client in IGEL OS. There was a demo of WVD on IGEL OS performed on stage showing the implementation. This is a definite game changer for the industry to have WVD access on Linux and specifically IGEL OS.
The software to get going is available on https://www.igel.com/wvd where you will have information on how to configure your endpoint and feature matrix.
Get the software, install it on your existing IGEL endpoints, or why not reimage your existing PC/ThinClient for use with IGEL. We do support any x86_64 based computer with 2GB RAM and 2GB (4GB recommended). No reason for you to keep away from it 🙂
Watch out for more postings on the Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktop topic at my blog the coming days.
Stay safe out there!
