19 May 2021 – As told previously, IGEL and NComputing are in a collaboration, where IGEL OS is put on top of the NComputing RX420 and RX440 RPi4 based endpoints. This gives a Enterprise class device in a very small form factor, with a attractive price. That together with the award winning IGEL Universal Management Suite (UMS) to make the admins life easy. Win-Win concept!
Me and my colleague Jeff Kalberg has started up a series of VLOG’s where we walk through the inns and outs of the hardware device and the operating system of IGEL OS for Arm and the integrations there in. The target is to have the live webinars every second week, and we of course record those and put them up for review afterwards, or if the timeslot wasn’t suitable for you. If you attend the webinars you have the possibility to interact with me and Jeff, and ask questions etc. We started a few weeks ago with a high-level walkthrough of the hardware of the RX420/440. We have been looking at the integrated features/configuration and we have drilled down to the Citrix Workspace app integrations and configuration.
