With the latest build of the IGEL OS AVD client, you can now enjoy virtual background effects in Microsoft Teams that are AVD optimized. It will remove any privacy concerns with remote users so be they are in a home office or on the road.
To demonstrate, I set up two IGEL OS endpoints, both connecting to Windows 365 CloudPCs and doing a video call. During the call, both users change their virtual backgrounds. Have a look!
If you are using Windows 365 or AVD, I recommend you to upgrade to the new IGEL OS firmware, as it includes a few stability and bug fixes. The Smartcard channel in AVD is now working nicely etc. When it comes to cloud consumerization, it’s always good to be on the latest version!
